Simona Kossak, daughter of painter Jerzy Kossak and granddaughter of Wojciech, deprived of the talent that has been creating her family for generations, grows up without experiencing the warmth of a despotic mother. When after graduation she leaves everything - her home, social conventions - and adds a job as a scientist in Białowieża, she begins life in clinical facilities. She settles in the middle of the forest, in a house without electricity or running water, surrounded by wild nature. There, in a magical wilderness, she meets photographer Lech Wilczek, with whom they share passions - love of nature and... freedom. Their extraordinary relationship defies all conventions. However, Simona's idea of work is typical for young women in a world dominated by men who are subject to verification. She must stand up for not only her ideals, but also the world of plants and animals. (Quelle: Verleih)
